Matt Reeves Gives an Update About Production of ‘The Batman’

Recently on March 14, the upcoming 2021 The Batman film was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic by Warner Bros. and now the director of the film has given us an update on the situation.

Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman has revealed that the film production has been shut down due to fears of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID19), and on Wednesday he also confirmed that the film production has been halted for a good reason.

Reeves was asked by a fan on Twitter if the production has experienced any delays, he answered: “Yes, we have shut down till it is safe for us all to resume.” You can see the tweet here:

This is unfortunate news for fans of the upcoming film, many other films have been effected by the coronavirus pandemic, ‘Wonder Woman 1984’s release date has been delayed, Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings production has been suspended and much more, The Batman is slated for June 25, 2021.
