The dual takes place among The war of Mandalore as others such as Commander Rex fight on the frontlines. The war proves crucial as the battle parallels and connects to the prequel trilogy movie Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Loyal fans have waited for this moment ever since Star Wars: The Clone Wars first hiatus. Dave Filoni knows fans are truly excited for this climactic conclusion and have set high hopes for the finale. He doesn’t plan to let them down and seeks to more than deliver on a grand scale. Bringing in the big guns with a familiar face Ray Park, the stunt actor or physical appearance of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Rebels, and Solo: A Star Wars Story to motion capture Darth Maul one more time.
Ray Park enjoys playing Darth Maul and has immense fun in rehearsals while still bringing familiar and new Darth Maul techniques. Ahsoka Lauren Mary Kim stunt performer impresses equally as she is honored to play the physical role of Ahsoka and work with well known Ray Park. She is focused and believes fans will truly enjoy what Ray and she have collaborated in making a grounded yet exciting fight with a clash of acrobatic fighting styles.
