Pixar has released a new sneak peek promo for their next film Soul.

Soul is the next Pixar film, scheduled for a theatrical release on November 20, 2020. It will tell the story of Joe Gardner, an aspiring African-American middle school teacher who suffers a tragic accident and leaves his soul in a world where new souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests before they go to Earth. Joe meets a soul named ”22” and the duo tries to return to life.

The new promo previews new scenes in the film and the great music vibe that surrounds Joe and New York City. The sneak peek also shows the love that Joe has for music by saying “Music is Life!” as well as his loving connection to his family.

The film is directed by Pete Docter and will star Jamie Foxx as Joe, Tina Fey as 22, and Questlove as Curly. John Baptiste is writing the jazz soundtrack of the film and the score will be composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

The film was scheduled for a theatrical release on June 19, 2020, but due to the disastrous global health crisis, Disney and Pixar rescheduled the release to November 20, 2020.
