No Time to Die has had a bit of a bumpy road to the big screen. At one point, Danny Boyle was set to direct – but departed over creative differences.
Rumblings of script problems persist, but there’s potential here thanks to the addition of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was brought in at Daniel Craig’s request to punch things up.
Waller-Bridge tackled the script along with Fukunaga and Scott Z. Burns, working off an early draft by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
After over a year of production, and with principal photography finally complete this past October, we’ve finally got our first teaser for Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond. The teaser has been released just ahead of the full trailer, which comes out tomorrow.
The clip shows all the elements of a classic 007 film, with a souped-up Aston Martin, gunfights, a motorbike stunt, and Bond in a sharp tuxedo.
It also includes an apparent – albeit brief – glimpse of the villain – a masked figure who looms behind a glass window.
We can’t wait for the full trailer reveal tomorrow.
