Disney is currently in contact with Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa) and Alistair Petri (General Draven) to reprise their roles in the upcoming Disney+ Cassian Andor series. The 2 would reunite with Deigo Luna (Andor), Alan Tudyk (K-2SO), and Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma) as well as new rumored newcomers Stellan Starsgard, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller.
The series is currently still in the early staged of production, so details are scarce. However it is set to be a prequel series to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, following the adventures of Cassian Andor and the early years of the Rebellion. There is roughly 18 years of canon for this series to cover after The Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One, so it will be interesting to see if they cross paths with the crew of the Ghost from Disney’s animated show Star Wars: Rebels.
Smits has previously appeared in 3 films as Bail Organa, Leia’s adopted father. Not much is known about Petrie’s General Draven as he has only appeared in Rogue One, but the character was a pivotal piece in forming the Rebellion.
