Jared Harris denies role of Doctor Octopus in Sony’s Morbius

On January 13, 2020 Sony released the trailer for Morbius The Living Vampire which the movie takes place in Sony’s Spidey-verse. The trailer was well received from fans that the trailer even has 217k likes compared to its 9.2k dislikes. In the trailer we see the famous star of ‘Mad Men’ Jared Harris which has speculated rumors of who will he play.

Fans have been speculating that he will play the famous Spider-Man villain Doctor Octopus since his role is disclosed on IMBD and other websites. In reports his character is more referred to the mentor for the mighty vampire Morbius who is played by Jared Leto. While at the SAG awards Harris denied the rumor by saying “No. I love the imagination that the fans have, it’s exciting for me to think about the imagination that that fans have. But yeah no, it’s not.”

Last time we saw Doctor Octopus in a live movie was Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 which Alfred Molina played him. Overall fans are still excited for the movie and to see Jarred Harris in another awesome role.

Currently Morbius is in post-production and set to hit theatres near you on July 31, 2020. So far the cast contains lead actor Jared Leto as Morbius, Adria Arjona who will play Martine Bancroft whom is another vampire and also the love interest to Morbius. Also along them is Matt Smith, and even Tyrese Gibson which he will play an F.B.I agent.
