2 min read

We’ve seen images of Zack Snyder’s Darkseid before, but now we can witness him in all his CGI glory in a newly released clip of his cut of Justice League.

The clip shows Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman as she discovers an ancient image of the DC super-villain as an ominous voice-over warns us of his presence and attention, following is a full glimpse of Darkseid as he readies his army amongst the fire and brimstone of Apokolips. Ever since the inception of #releasethesnydercut, Snyder has been teasing Darkseid’s presence in his vision of the film. Darkseid was ultimately pushed from the version we got in favor of Darkseid’s Lieutenant Steppenwolf.

This preview is sure to get fans clamoring for not only Zack Snyder’s Justice League, set to debut on HBO Max, but for Warner Bros. DC Fandome Virtual event set for August 22, 2020, at 10 am PT. By promising more footage, Snyder has no doubt re-enforced the selling point for the DC event now set to preview movies like Wonder Woman 1984, Black Adam, and The Suicide Squad and the litany of DC Television properties as well as hear from their creators.
