Animation Director Kelly Asbury Passes Away At Age 60

Reported by CARTOON BREW, Kelly Asbury, known for directing Shrek 2, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and Gnomeo & Juliet, died of cancer at age 60 on the morning of June 26th, 2020.

Asbury had a hand in animation that reached further than the films listed above that began with classics like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Toy Story and ended with recent films such as Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and The Addams Family.
